= That is why for us facilities such as the Plaster Fun House are worth every penny. : When it comes to families & in particular children, it seems to be increasingly difficult to find activities that will actually enable one to use their own imagination, to interact with one another, to be creative, that is inexpensive and covers all age brackets. A selection of party rooms has been build into the new venue with themes such as Dinosaurs, Princesses & Pirates. Art smocks are available and there is ample space to allow for the layout of paints, brushes & water bowls. = There is a Bathroom onsite & you can purchase coffee, lollies, drinks, chips & ice-cream at additional cost.
:) : My family has attended the Plaster Fun House both in it's original location & now at Mount Pleasant so many times that I have lost track, however I do know that during each visit the staff have been incredibly helpful, polite & friendly & they have never failed to provide assistance when we have required it. You can pay as little as $5.00 for small moulds of flowers & animals or if you prefer to decorate your own jewellery and / or money box then rest assured the prices won't break the bank. : The costs are very reasonable & you will find something to suit every budget. = Glitter, googly eyes, little beads & hats are just a few of the additions available for a small price if you wish to add to your creation & staff will add a glaze to your finished product. There are many vibrant colours to choose from as well as paints that will glow in the dark, a particular favourite of my step-son. From Robots & Spaceships to Butterflies & Fairies, from Darth Vader & Dragons to Skateboards & Surfer Dudes during every visit the list of characters I look forward to painting grows longer each time.
: The variety of moulds from which to choose is extensive and they have ensured that there are items to capture everyone's imagination. =We were happy to learn that they have albeit at a new location & the venue is bigger & better than ever! : One aspect I feel important to emphasise is that this place is not just for kids & I am happy to encourage that even families without children should plan a trip here today! I am not embarrassed to say my husband & I look forward to going here probably even more than my step-son & I will always end up with my hands & fingernails covered in paint having had an absolute ball designing my art work.
Always high on our family favourites list, the original facility actually burnt down in early 2014 & for while it didn't appear that the owners were going to rebuild. My husband & I are thrilled to be able to recommend to our fellow travellers the Plaster Fun House located in Mount Pleasant, Ballarat.
